BIG BANG FTW! :D
Not much has happened today. Really boring.
Today's a Tuesday, so there's Pasar Malam (:
I went there to return the dress I bought last two weeks, and I exchanged it for another one which looked much better etc etc.
I bumped into quite a lot of people I know. Chong Ho Yan, Chris, Qiao Er(I'm not sure how to spell her name... ._.) and her gang, Danny, oh and Melvin, WahLung and err....Jin Rui I think. I didn't see her face that clearly...
Have you ever been in a situation, where you see your friends in front, and you wanted to like, smile and say hello to them, but instead you just look away and pretend not to see them. Then they would stare at you, like 'look at me! I'm over here!!' but you just won't turn, and then they walk away and you think in your head 'Gosh, they must think that I'm very berlagak and all! NOOOOOO!!! I should've just turned and smileeeee!!'
(I'm sorry...?)
Wow, I'm babbling a lot lately...
Lols, anyways, that happens to me a lot when I go out. Especially in pasar malams...
And I hate it so damn much. I wish I could just be...natural. Y'know, like, stop acting and pretending...
But i don't do that in school, don't worry (:
It's been a long time since I last seen Danny. He's still with they same gang :D
I asked my dad if I could hang out here with my friends next year. And he said yes. Woooo!
One more question.
Have you ever helped a lost kid?
Well, here's the story. I was walking along the road and looking at all the stuff they sell in those stalls and blahblahblah, and I saw this little girl (who looked almost like Annabelle. CUTE!!) in front of a stall that's selling all those kids videos. Her eyes were locked on the TV, and the store keeper had her eyes locked on the kid as well. I looked around the kid, and saw no parent or adult standing beside her. It was a bit weird.
My dad saw her too and he felt the same way.
I thought, maybe her mom is just by the next stall and she had the store keeper to look after the little girl for a while.
We stared at her for what seemed like 15 minutes or so, and the store keepers finally said 'She's been standing there for a long time, and I've not seen her mom anywhere. I asked her question but she just wouldnt' talk'
We asked the little girl where her mom was, and she wouldn't even turn to look at us.
A few people came and asked us the same questions we asked. How would we know, lady?
The little girl finally noticed the people around her and freaked out a little. But still, no words came out of her mouth.
She walked down the street alone. Some of the people left, some just stood there. But dad and I, and two more ladies with kids in their arms followed the girl. It was not long till the girl finally spoke and called for her mommy. I expected her to scream and cry, but she didn't. Her face was calm, a little freaked out but still, calm.
That made me wanna help her out even more, somehow.
One of the ladies said something about a woman up the street looking for her daughter, and thought maybe it was her. They wanted to bring her up there to look for her mom, but she just wouldn't follow. Her mom thought her well enough to not follow strangers, I thought. It was a good thing (:
My dad told them that someone should go up and look for that woman instead and bring her to her kid. More and more people surrounded the girl and i felt a bit scared for the girl. I don't know why but I just do.
Just then, WahLung and some guy came up to us and took the girl in his arms, saying that he found his mother(or something like that, I don't remember. All I remember was that the lady started scolding him and he said she wasn't his sister. Hah)
We followed him eventually. And soon we heard a woman's screaming and crying and wailing just up ahead.
Her mom was holding on to her and hugging her so tightly. The little girl, watching her mom crying so hard, she broke into tears too.
I was expecting Melvin and Jin Rui to appear when Wah Lung came. But nope, I don't see them or WahLung after that.
I don't think I've completely done a good deed. Maybe just half of it. And that half was for following that kid till she's found her mom. I don't know what'll happened to her if we actually leave her there...
(Wow, I feel like I'm roleplaying o__o)
What I've learned: Never leave your child's side when in a crowded place like Pasar Malam until they are old enough to ( like maybe 13 or something *points at self*) If you have to, carry them in your arms all the way, or...tie a string to yours and your kid's hand so they won't leave your side without pulling you along. Or maybe just get a stroller...
Also, do not get distracted by things and totally forget about your kids. Have someone else by your side to keep an eye on them if you're that
She must've been distracted by the video while her mom let her hand go or something, that was what we thought.
All of that, actually put me in shock once again. I don't know why! But it just does.
Oh yeah, the pictures I promised I would put up last night.
These were taken at Mines, 25th September. Celebrating Rebekah's 14 birthday. It was a day earlier cause it was meant to be a surprise party (:

Rebekah, and cake (: It cost us RM59 and everyone was so confused with who payed and who hasn't, and who payed how much, who payed more etc etc. Good thing Ho Yan was there. She was always so good in money counting, know? (;

Pic 1, First row/left:Jackson(ugh... he gives me the chills!), Kiet Tien/Ah Ong.
Second row/left: Jien Hao, Rebekah, Tian Jin, Zheng Hui (He wasn't invited actually, but eh, the more the merrier (: )

Sook Cheng, Ho Yan, Rebekah, Blah (: & Becky. We were so unprepared for the photos and our jaws were in pain for holding our smiles for that long. (We were laughing all along so yeah, it hurts)

Hah, I was just that close!!!

Stupid...thing won't let me rotate the pics....
- 'Whose birthday is it?', Rebekah.I had to send two boys + Ho Yan to Mines and send three boys back. I thought my dad would like, freak out or something but he didn't, fortunately.
Ho Yan, Jackson, Jien Hao and I had to be at Mines earlier than the others cause I have the cake and I'm the one sending them there. So yeah, super big tanggungjawab lah.
We had to go around the mall to look for a restaurant or cafe to keep the cake. But that certain place had to be where we will have lunch. So we were all looking and arguing on which one is better and cheaper and etc etc. And Ho Yan was giving out all the negative-ness as usual...
But in the end, we chose Secret Recipe. I like it, but they said it was a bit pricy but there weren't really any choice left so ... Only Ho yan, Jien Hao and I were eating and the others were 'Ehhhh, *looks at pricy menu* I'm not hungry. Can I just have plain water?'
The waitress was very nice cause we asked if they could keep the cake we bought from outside (means not from Secret Recipe) and they said yes. Plus, they had to take the cake out for us and give us the plates and forks etc etc. It is a bit paiseh la, but they showed nothing but a smile on their face. How nice!
After all that, we went around the mall and fooling around with everything we see. Jien Hao and the boys played with shades and glasses and made me put on those big nerdy glasses, which I thought was quite cute but I definitely won't look cute in it. They made me anyway.
Jien Hao: Eh, try this on. PLEASE. *dazzles*Me:*hides behind Becky and puts on big nerdy glasses* Uhhh....Becky: *turns and puts on the 'OMFG' face* OMFG!!Boys: Eh ehh let me see let me see!!Me: *turns around before they see* OMG I looked like shit, didn't I???Heeee...
Luckily they didn't see, or I'll be the joke of the day.
Being the joke of the day = obvsly NOT. COOL.
Becky and I bought those necklaces that had our initials and that cost me 12 bucks. I also bought a hat, 23 bucks. Plus the set meal I had in Secret Recipe, 15 bucks, and 'Poof!' , there goes my 50 bucks.
'My mom is so going to kill me'We went to the arcade after that. And just when I bought the tickets and coins, my dad calls to tell me he's coming and he wants us to wait outside so that he doesn't have to wait. I mean, c'mon I told him to come when I call him! And I haven't even played anything yet damnit!
What can I do?
I told Ah Ong, Jackson and Jien Hao that we had to leave and it took me nearly 10 minutes to get them off the games and another 5 minutes to say my goodbyes to my friends, and roughly another 20 minutes to walk from the arcade to my dad's car. And my shoes were killing me!!
We dropped Ah Ong and Jackson off in front of UTAR, and brought Jien Hao back to my place since his mom was coming to my house to pick him up.
I asked him to play the piano for me once we reached home, and my mom said he was much better in playing the piano than me. I told her he was only grade 3. And he had no book to see (:
I gotta go.... Byesss!! :D
P.S: My grandma likes Jien Hao! HAHAHAH!!!!
P.P.S: WOW! super long post. I bet some of my grammar sucked...
